Witches & Wizards presents Fantasy Film Friday hosted by Detect Nerd. Columbia’s coolest/nerdiest film series features live commentary, generous prizes, comfortable couches and more! Next up is 1982’s TRON — Disney’s beautiful and pioneering mixture of computer-generated imagery and neon visual effects. Now a cult classic, TRON stars Jeff Bridges as an arcade game developer who must battle his way out from inside his own computer programs. The film also features an electronic score composed by Wendy Carlos.

TRON plays Friday, December 16 at 6:30pm in the upstairs screening room of Witches & Wizards, 1214 Eugenia St. Free admission! Beverages are available. Elizabeth Keach and Doug Miller of Columbia’s nerd/gaming group Detect Nerd will introduce the film and provide fun commentary at key points along the way.
