Witches & Wizards Arcade presents Fantasy Film Friday hosted by Detect Nerd. Columbia’s coolest/nerdiest free film series features trivia, commentary, raffle prizes, comfortable couches and more!

Next up is everybody’s favorite rat-themed film: 1982’s The Secret of N.I.M.H. Not a documentary, but classic Disney-style hand animation from Disney rebel Don Bluth. Featuring a diverse cast of voice actors including: Shakespearean actors Sir Derek Jacobi and John Carradine; more than enough Dom DeLuise; plus Beverly Hills 90210 heartthrob Shannon Doherty and Star Trek TNG’s Wil Wheaton in their first film roles.

Fun for the whole family, The Secret of N.I.M.H. plays Friday, March 3 at 6:30pm in the upstairs screening room of Witches & Wizards Arcade, 1214 Eugenia Street — with additional parking on Fay Street. Free admission! Beverages are available. Elizabeth Keach and Doug Miller of Columbia’s nerd/gaming group Detect Nerd host the show with trivia, commentary, and raffle prizes.
