Witches & Wizards Arcade presents Fantasy Film Friday hosted by Detect Nerd. Columbia’s coolest/nerdiest, free, film series features trivia, commentary, raffle prizes and more! Right next to great food from Irene's BBQ and fantastic drinks from Six-Mile Ordinary, so make a whole night of it!

Based on the novel by Roald Dahl, James and the Giant Peach is a musical fantasy animated film directed by Henry Selick. This family-friendly film is a combination of live action and stop-motion animation. It tells a tale about a young boy making friends with some out-of-the-ordinary creatures while inside a giant peach! With timeless characters voiced by expert actors like Joanna Lumley, Susan Sarandon, Richard Dreyfuss, David Thewlis, Miriam Margoyles, Simon Callow and more! 

James and the Giant Peach shows Friday, November 3rd at 7:00pm at the indoor theater inside Witches & Wizards Arcade, 1214 Eugenia Street — with additional parking on Fay Street. Free admission! Beverages are available. Elizabeth Keach and Doug Miller of Columbia’s nerd/gaming group Detect Nerd host the show with trivia, commentary, and raffle prizes.
